What is Laser and IPL Photo Rejuvenation?
IPL uses a broad spectrum of light, which is primarily absorbed by chromophore melanin (pigment in our skin, hair and eyes) and oxyhaemoglobin (blood). This allows us to selectively treat these areas without affecting the surrounding skin resulting in an improvement of pigmentation, fine lines, mild textural irregularities and vascular lesions. Individual results may vary.
What are the benefits of Laser and IPL Photo Rejuvenation?
Laser and IPL photo rejuvenation are effective treatments of flat, benign pigmented lesions such as freckles, sunspots, general pigmentation, and facial vascular lesions such as spider veins, red spots and broken capillaries. They also help diffuse redness, rosacea and red scarring.
How many treatments will I need?
A thorough consultation is performed to classify your skin according to its melanin (pigment) content and your skins reaction to the sun. A test patch is required prior to the treatment and to also determine your treatment plan.
How safe is Laser and IPL Photo Rejuvenation at Aspire Medispa?

What’s the difference between Laser and IPL?
Laser and IPL work on the principle of selectively heating/destroying blood vessels and excess pigmentation on the surface of the skin. Some skin types are better suited to either laser or IPL, likewise specific lesions (vascular or pigment) may respond better to either laser or IPL. Having the choice of both modalities allows for a better treatment outcome and patient satisfaction.
